Vintage 1.02 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, Circa 1920

Description

A sparkling early Art Deco engagement ring, set with a GIA certified old European cut diamond (graded I colour, VS2 clarity). The stone is secured in an eight-claw platinum collet between marquise shaped shoulders, each set with a small eight-cut diamond, leading to a slender platinum shank.

Accompanied by a GIA Natural Diamond Grading Report.

Cut: Old European (eight-cuts in the shoulders).

Colour: I (H in the shoulders).

Clarity: VS2 (VS1 in the shoulders).

Carat: 1.02 (and a further approximate 0.02 carat in the shoulders).

Circa: 1920.

Size: L (UK) or 5 1/2 (US). Free sizing available.

Measurements: The diamond is 6.12 x 6.21mm and sits 5.7mm from the finger.

Weight: 3.58 grams.

Metal: Platinum. Tested with a Niton DXL Precious Metal Analyzer.
