A handsome set of six antique oak barley twist dining chairs, comprising four single chairs and two carvers. A classic, traditional design with barley twist legs and stretchers, carved crest rails, and good proportions throughout.
These chairs have a strong, decorative presence and work equally well in a country kitchen, farmhouse dining room, or a more traditional interior. Solidly made with good weight, they sit well around a large dining table and are comfortable, usable pieces rather than delicate show furniture.

Condition
Good antique condition overall. All chairs are solid and sturdy with no loose joints.
The two carver chairs retain their original upholstered seats.
The four single chairs have been reupholstered at a later date.
General age-related wear, surface marks and patina consistent with age and use.
