I have never seen another pair this fine outside of a Museum or fine antiques catalogue, they are by a country mile the best examples for sale anywhere in the world today, the pictures don't come close to doing them justice, for collectors of this type of furniture these are a dream come true
Firmly attributed to Gillows of Lancaster & London, they have the Gillows serial numbers stamped to the under side of the drawers, on the underside of the frame and hand written in pencil on the sides of the drawer linings, the quality of the craftsmanship on the drawers screams Gillows, it is second to not as in the inlay and timber cuts
We have deep cleaned, hand condition waxed and hand polished them from top to bottom, they have age and use related patina marks here and there as you would expect based on the age and normal use but nothing that stops them being gallery ready and perfect
