The heart was made by Harold Arthur Lazarus - a London jeweller listed at the 1947 British Industries Fair as “Manufacturer of fine diamond‑set paste jewellery and semi‑precious stone jewellery”. His company was known for its high-quality gold and silver jewellery, often in antique revival styles.

SIZE: The pendant measures 2.5cm across. The chain is approximately 21 inches (approx 53cm) long.

HALLMARKS/STAMPS: The pendant is hallmarked for nine-carat gold, London 1959 and bears the sponsor's mark HAL. The chain is hallmarked for nine-carat gold, Sheffield 1983, and the clasp and bail are also stamped 375.
