Technical Description
An exceptionally rare mid 19th century green wine glass. It has a ribbed conical bowl with a merese collar above a hollow wrythen cylinder stem with a conical folded foot.
Almost certainly out of the Richardson stable, the colour, hues, joins and metal would all indicate a first half 19th century date.
The only other documented examples of these glasses are in the Taymouth Castle glass collection in Scotland, which you can see in the Taymouth Castle article on our web site.
