This Louis Philippe commode (c.1870) is a quintessential example of 19th-century French design, characterized by its "douphine" (hidden) top drawer and clean, rounded lines.

There is some old woodworm that has long gone.

The piece has great colour and a fantastic marble top.

The combination of the swirling grain of the figured walnut and beautiful fossil marble , makes this a high-quality piece.
