A stunning antique Victorian carved walnut console / side table. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1860-1880 period.It is of exceptional quality and is a very useful size. There is wonderful, detailed carving around all the edges, the top is beautifully shaped and has a slightly raised edge. The single drawer is pulled out with a leather handle that is fixed inside the drawer. The back of this is also nicely finished.We have had this revived and re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age, with a lovely patina. The solid walnut top has a couple of very slight splits to the construction where the original joints on the edges, seen in the images.
