Narrow William IV Bookcase in Rosewood

K0289 Very attractive William IV / early Victorian two door rosewood sideboard of unusually narrow proportions, having oversailing top with stunning rosewood grain above an oak lined frieze drawer and a pair of cupboard doors with brass grill, enclosing removable shelf, all standing on plinth base. This antique bookcase / side cabinet comes with an original upstand which can be easily removed, we have fashioned two small buttons to cover two columns holes, please see photos. Although the lock is not working the door is fitted with a small brass catch and stays shut. We also have two pleated door panels. The cabinet came to us from a private collector, it is in good condition, it has been well looked after over the years. All in good home ready condition c1840
