The decoration features a cobalt-blue ground, heavy gilding, and rust-orange floral motifs, combining transfer printing with hand-applied enamels.

The base bears traces of an erased factory mark and the impressed shape number “143.9”.
A well-preserved example of late Victorian English art pottery.
