This desk is in good condition. We have professionally stripped and restored it and then waxed it in a lovely antique brown bri wax giving it a stunning patina. The top has been lauqered three times so it is waterproof so would be ideal in a kitchen.This desk would look well in an office or kitchen amongst similar antique pine furniture. This desk stands on a square plinth supporting the main section. There are eleven drawers. The drawers all have dovetail joints and are pine lined. Each drawer has its original brass drop handle which we have polished individually to contrast beautifully with the wood. These handles alone would cost �25-�30 each. There is a large kneehole and the kneehole height is 62cm. The sides are panelled and the top is in good condition. The back has two doors with shelves behind.
