Japan's Seven Lucky Gods (or Shichifukujin) are deities of fortune from Buddhist, Taoist, and Shinto roots, traditionally including Ebisu, Daikokuten, Benzaiten, Bishamonten, Fukurokuju, Jurojin and Hotei, often depicted on their treasure ship, the Takarabune, bringing blessings such as wealth, longevity, wisdom, and happiness, especially around the New Year.
