This is an exceptional, original mid-19th-century Oil on Canvas Portrait Painting depicting a handsome young boy wearing a dark-rimmed hat and a white lace shirt.

The work doesn't appear to be signed; however, it is clear from these images that the unknown 19th-century artist was a professional and a highly skilled hand.

It is extremely lifelike, and the little boy has an adorable feel to him.

This is one for the collector!

A stunning piece, that is mounted within its original and extensive giltwood and gesso cushion moulded frame.

Condition:

Both the painting and the frame are offered in an overall fabulous condition.

There is a small surface chip to the right of the boy's ear, beside his hat.
