Good George V Silver Mustard Pot by William Hutton & Sons, Birmingham 1910

Description

This very elegant sterling silver mustard pot is dated Birmingham 1910 and was made by the sought-after silversmith William Hutton. Of traditional oval form , the plain sides with a distinctive rope-twist border, giving it an Arts & Craft look. The domed cover with urn shaped finial. The back with elegant scroll handle. Fitted with the original blue glass liner and sold with a very well matched sterling silver mustard spoon by John Round, dated Sheffield 1909.

WH&S LD for William Hutton & Sons.

Birmingham Assay Mark.

Lion Passant.

Date letters "l" for 1910.

Condition:

Very good

No dings or dents.

Liner in perfect condition.

Good hinge.
