A lovely pine bureau. We date this bureau to the early 20th century.The bureau comes in one section and sits on four cabriole legs.The drop flap lowers to reveal the fitted interior, which consists of various pigeon holes and a bank of three small drawers at each side. Below this there are three wide graduated drawers. The drawers are fitted with round drop handles.The bureau has a height of 105cm, a width of 79cm and a depth of 45cm.This lovely bureau remains in good solid condition with surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There are a number of usage marks including some wear to bureau flap and ring mark to top surface. The back outer left leg has been brought in a little bit as shown in the pictures. The key for the locks is missing.This remains a simple yet stylish and elegant bureau.
