A rare 19th century Persian silver (unmarked) baby rattle of bar form with decorative embossed Persian domes at each end containing bells, each with an articulated bell at the end. This beautiful rattle appears as if it had started life with a gilt finish which has worn, otherwise it is in excellent condition and gives a loud ring, measuring 5 inches in length.
