The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1940s.
The watch has a Swiss 15-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed Ralco, a brand name registered by Movado.
The movement is protected by an inner cover.

The watch is a mid-size piece at 29mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is stainless steel and it is in good condition, just a scratch to the back but not too serious. The back of the watch states that the watch is waterproof but, as with any vintage watch, it should be kept away from water and moisture. The inside of the case back has the CS(I) mark which is for the Indian Civil Service.

The lens is in good condition.
The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute track. The dial has developed a warmer hue over the years, it has a nice appearance.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
