This is a large, superb Impressionist Mountainous Landscape Oil on Canvas Painting.

Circa 1955-1960

The magnificent image portrays a breathtaking view of a tall, towering and snow-capped mountain range.

The viewer is transported to the scene by looking through the dense pine forest before them.

The attention to detail throughout the work is, quite simply, breathtaking!

The surface of the canvas is also marvellously and cleverly textured by the use of the artist's impasto and palette.

It is signed in the lower right corner and titled in the lower left corner, but we are unable to decipher the signature.

Mounted within the original and very fine quality two-silvered and moulded frame.
