This is a lovely mid 1800s puzzle shaped boat snuff box. This lovely fruitwood snuff box has star inlay and brass inlaid anchors on the base. The lid is inlaid with mother of pearl and brass diamonds, triangles, crescents, stars, a heart and possibly a compass.
It measures 10.5cm l x 2.8cm d x 3.5cm h.
