Charnwood Antiques has dated this Framed Classical Portrait Engraving to the 19th Century.
An ally of Parliamentarian leader John Pym, and cousin to Oliver Cromwell, he was one of the Five Members whose attempted arrest in January 1642 sparked the First English Civil War.

This engraving by W. Roffe is from the impressive statue by J H Foley which is located in the Central Lobby of the House of Commons.
