Unusual painted and gilded overmantle mirror c.1920. 38'' x 28½'' mirror plate within a broad painted pine frame. Large Regency style carved and gilded egg and dart moulding to the inner edge and a second border of anthemion pattern moulding at the top and sides. Some obvious old wear and the gilding is rubbed through in places to reveal the red ground below.
