Attractive Antique Arts & Crafts Coal Log Box and Fireside Tools
We date this Arts & Crafts coal box and tools to the early 20th century.
The metal coal box has a hinged lift up top with handles on the side. The box is wooden on the inside and has an internal metal liner which lifts out.
The fireside tools consist of a brush, shovel, tongs and poker on an upright stand.
The box has a height of 36cm with a width of 55cm and a depth of 35cm. The stand has a height of 44cm and with the poker in place the overall height is 57cm.
This coal box remains in a good solid condition with minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There is a bit of surface oxidisation.
This remains a very stylish and useful coal box. It will continue to provide good service for many years to come.
