Description

An unusual Arts and Crafts golden oak and inlaid dressing mirror or shaving stand. The circular tilt and swivel mirror having an oak frame with ebony inlaid stringing, the shaped supports with conforming and circular inlay. The thumb moulded edged top inlaid with circular patrea in mahogany, box wood and ebony between further ebony stringing. Below are 2 hinged and sprung drawers which are opened by a central catch. The octagonal supporting column with further ebony dot and line inlay terminating in a turned and inlaid finial and the whole raised on 3 carved cabriole legs. Dimensions:- Height...63.5''/ 161cm. Diameter at Base...24''/61cm. Diameter of top...20.5''/ 52cm. Condition- very good and original. Delivery by furniture carrier £50.
