Description

Rare New England American country made cherrywood ladder back arm chair with bobbin turned uprights terminating in turned finial. Lovely shaped arms. Rush seat, Simple turned front legs united with two turned stretchers. All in fine original condition with just a little damage to rush seat. Fine rich colour with great waxed patina. A classic example of an american country chair. FRESH ON MARKET STRAIGHT FROM SCOTTISH MANSION HOUSE.

Size; 46" high, 23.5" wide, 25" deep. Seat 18" high incl. cushion.
