Late George III 18th century Sheraton period flamed mahogany and rosewood banded table.

The highly figured flamed mahogany top is neatly crossbanded with rosewood and barber stringing on an ebony outline. The table top sits above a mahogany veneered frieze. The table top is fixed to the original saddle and fitted with a tilt-top mechanism above a finely carved and ring turned mahogany pedestal base.

The table is raised on four solid mahogany and ebony inlaid legs that retain the original gilt brass cast capped castors.

It is a 41 inch diameter table.
