Antique Furniture Direct has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
Featuring a slightly over-sailing top with a gallery back above an open shelf and cupboard all raised on bracket feet. The twin doors open with a brass drop handle to reveal a single removable shelf to the interior. The doors lock and come with a working key. Could be used as a bookcase or hall cupboard for shoes etc. A really nice piece, good colour and patina and of a very useful size.
