Description

A charming antique Victorian walnut towel rail stand dating from circa 1890. In a Gothic Revival influenced design, it features two top rails over a central rail and a shaped supporting bottom rail, and stands on bracket feet. The uprights and cross sections are beautifully chamfered and the bracket feet are supported with fancy burr wood spandrels. A simple but elegant piece, it makes a practical and decorative addition to a bedroom, bathroom, or dressing area.
