A wonderful pair of Georgian silver gilt salts both hallmarked for London 1796 by makers Peter & Ann Bateman.
 
Circular in form on 3 hoof feet. Gilded interior.
 
In very good antique condition for their nearly 230 years. Hallmarks are good on both, they both sit flat, gilding is rubbed to the interiors, some scratches to interior and exterior of the bowls, general signs of wear commensurate of age and use.
