A very good quality William IV Sterling Silver Gilt ribbed design & engine turned Snuff box, hallmarked for Birmingham 1835 by Willmore & Co (From 1834 the partnership between Joseph Willmore, John Yapp & John Woodward Yapp)
Gilded interior. The central cartouche contains a family crest or coat of arms.
It measures 8.5 cm x 3.5 cm x 2 cm and weighs 67.8 grams.
Condition is very good for its 190 years, hallmarks are good, gilding bright, some surface scratches & usual signs of wear commensurate of age and use.
A very tactile item.
