A fine example of an early 18thc brass tinderbox and candle holder combined....it has the early features of copper rolled rivets to the base of the candle socket , nicely shaped handle and castellated seam where the sides join....all early features to help in dating this hard to find type of early metalware....in very good condition.
English / Dutch C1710-20.
