An antique cast iron four poster bed from the late Nineteenth Century, circa 1880. This magnificent piece of furniture was originally manufactured in the UK for export to North Africa. Seventh Heaven have recently acquired the bed from Tangier, Morocco and brought it back to our restoration workshops in Wales.The ornate panels at the head and foot of the bed have ornate castings, and central feature of a brass plaque. The four posts are mounted by ornate cast knobs and support a canopy.This bed accepts a British King Size (5ft wide x 6ft 6in long) base and mattress set.You will need a bed base to support the mattress. Bed bases sit on the bedstead frame and can be either Firm or Sprung and come in different depths with a choice of covers.A BED BASE IS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE OF THIS BED.
