Description

A Victorian Aesthetic Movement wine table, the circular fixed top decorated with gilt motifs on a black japanned ground, raised on a single barley twist turned column and terminating in a tripod base with carved scroll feet.

A light and mobile occasional table for use beside seating. Its modest footprint allows it to function comfortably beside an armchair, sofa end as a wine table or as a small lamp or display table within a sitting room.

Presented in very good antique condition with surface wear and attractive craquelure to the japanned finish consistent with age and use. Structurally sound, stable and ready to place in the home.
