A beautifully Italian solid silver jewellery or table box. It is hallmarked with the 800 silver standard mark the makers mark ASTREA and the official national mark used 1934-1944. It has been beautifully made supported on four cast feet with a gilt interior. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, the inside is clean and gilded. It measures approx. 3.5 inch (8.8cm) square by 2.5 inches (6.6cm) tall to the top of the finial and weighs 218 grams. A beautiful piece.
