A large and fine English Porcelain plate decorated with a still life scene c.1815. The central reserve very finely painted with a still life scene of fruit, flowers, a bird basket with eggs and insects on a marble topped table. The gilt border finely executed in gold with cornucopia and doves, perhaps symbolic of the Treaty of Paris in 1814?
Condition: Professional restoration to 3 broken sections of the rim, rivet holes, some scratches to the central panel and worn gold band around the rim re-touched.
