The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1890s.
The watch has an English stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement carries the serial number 28886, the last three digits are also on the case. The movement is protected by an inner cover.
The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop.
The case is in lovely condition. The back of the watch has ornate initials.

The glass lens has a couple of minor marks, nothing serious at all.
The dial is in lovely condition with original pin-set blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.
The watch comes with an antique silver chain, 32cm long including the T-bar and the clasp. Also included is a 1915 silver fob. The fob is free from any personal inscriptions. One of the protrusions is slightly out of shape but not too detrimental.
The watch and chain come in a new presentation box.
