French Louis XVI Style Bronze Gilt & Cut Glass Ceiling Lantern

A fantastic quality 19th century French Louis XVI style antique ceiling lantern with thick hexagonal shaped cut glass body which projects the light when illuminated. The lantern has a substantial, beautifully chased and burnished bronze gilt ceiling rose with foliate detail and gadroon moulding, terminating to leaf and berry finial.
 
The bronze gilt has been cleaned and lacquered and the lantern has been rewired and is in working order. There are no chips to the glass.
