The skewer is good quality and made from a heavy gauge silver, weighing approximately 129g. It is clearly hallmarked for London, 1764, and the maker J.J (possibly James Jones).
It is in good condition with a clear hallmark and there are no major damages.
It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
