Exquisite Copeland Jewelled Porcelain Jug, Persian Style, c.1890–1900
An exceptionally attractive and finely manufactured Copeland porcelain jug in the Persian style, dating from circa 1890–1900. This exquisite piece is richly adorned with raised turquoise and pink jewelled decoration across the entire body, enhanced by lavish gilding. The design incorporates ornate gilt oblong bordered panels, with additional gilding to the interior of the neck and the handle, reflecting a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail.
The jug is clearly marked to the base and is offered in excellent condition, with only minor areas of light staining noted. A highly desirable example for collectors of fine English porcelain.
