Masons Antiques has dated this Arts and Crafts Wall Clock to the 1880s.
It has simply been cleaned and waxed in order to preserve it's total originality. It has a fully opening front door with the bottom half having astragal glazed brass inserts and bevelled glass.

The 8" (20cm) silvered dial has black Arabic numerals and nicely cut hands.
The 8 day movement strikes on the quarters and the hour, playing the Westminster-Chime tune. It is fitted with a STRIKE/SILENT switch. It has just been fully overhauled by our BHI registered (9th generation) horologist and carries our usual 12mths full parts and labour guarantee.
A beautiful, clean and reliable clock that is ready to go straight to work.
