Professionally restored and in mint condition.
This is a very fine example of a gents watch made by the premier swiss maker Zenith.

The 20 jewel chronometer bumper automatic movement is an absolute gem and is regarded as one of the finest movements ever made during the 1950s - golden age of Swiss watch making. This is certainly the type of movement that will last for 200 years just like a fine antique pocket watch.

The dial is perfect with a silver tone ground whwich catches the light beautifully with gilt numerals marked with luminous dots finished off with luminous gilt hands.
The heavy screw down solid stainless steel case is quite large at 35mm diameter without the winding crown.

This is a rare and desireable watch which is very sought after by collectors.
The watch comes with a brand new presentation box to keep it in perfect condition.
As you would expect from Zenith the watch is fully marked on the dial, movement case. It is marked with calibre 12.68Z and serial number 9466384 which dates this to around 1954.

There are NO inscriptions either inside the case or on the back.
It has a premium grade chestnut brown strap but can be fitted with a black or extra long strap if you prefer.
The watch has just been fully serviced by the respected Vintage watch specialist Alan Williams FBHI and is guaranteed to be a genuine Zenith in all respects. This watch has been fully and professionally overhauled, the process is highly detailed and meticulous.
The watch is stripped down to its component parts and each part is examined under a microscope for signs of wear, any worn parts are replaced with genuine manufacturers original parts. every part is then throughly cleaned in a 3 stage ultasonic cleaning process.
The movement is then fully assembled using manufacturer approved oils and lubricants and is carried out in a clean room environment. The watch movement is then checked and adjusted for accurate time keeping. The cases are polished and the watch sealed, in the case of waterproof watches a full waterproof presure test is carried out to manufacturers specification.
Obviously this is not a cheap or quick process which is why our watches are sometimes a little more expensive than others but you can be assured our watches will give reliable and dependable service and will not require any further attention for many years.
We only use natural daylight when taking photographs, we never digitally alter images or use artificial lighting to enhance our pictures so you can be assured the watch you see here is what you will receive and therefore you will not be disappointed.
Zenith are one of the most exclusive watchmakers in the world and this watch certainly has that understated but elegant look.
The watch movement comes with a full 1 year warranty.
