Description

Here’s an old English pine bureau dating from the early Victorian period. It features three main drawers below the drop-down writing surface, along with a variety of smaller drawers inside. The main drawers are fitted with decorative brass drop handles, while the smaller internal drawers have simple wooden knobs.

The writing surface is supported by sliding pull-out supports and sits at a comfortable writing height of 29". The bureau has a fairly rustic look, but it’s in good working condition for its age.

It is currently in bare wood and can be purchased for £590 as it is, or £697 if you’d like it wax-finished and tidied up a little.
