Vintage 2.30 Carat Pear Cut Sapphire Solitaire Ring, Circa 1955

Description

A stunning vintage solitaire ring, featuring a deep royal blue pear cut sapphire. The centre stone is secured in a four claw platinum collet, and is flanked by a pear of bright tapered baguette cut diamonds which smoothly lead to a slender platinum shank.

Accompanied by an independent jewellery report from WGI.

Cut: Pear cut sapphire and tapered baguette cut diamonds.

Colour: The sapphire is a deep royal blue. The diamonds are G and I.

Clarity: The sapphire has some visible inclusion. The diamonds are VS1 and VS2.

Carat: The sapphire is approximately 2.30 carat. Each diamond is approximately 0.20 carat.

Circa: 1955.

Size: M (UK) or 6 (US). Free sizing available. The internal sizing adjuster will be removed if you require this ring to be sized.

Measurements: The sapphire is 10.34 x 6.73mm and sits 6.5mm from the finger.

Weight: 3.91 grams.

Metal: Platinum. French hallmarks.
