Lee Hawkins Antiques & Interiors has dated this piece to the 1900s.

The octagonal frieze is fitted with eight drawer fronts - four functional and four dummy, arranged to maintain perfect symmetry around the table. Each drawer is fitted with brass campaign-style recessed handles, enhancing the refined yet utilitarian aesthetic.

Raised on a four-splayed pedestal base with square brass-capped toes and brass castors, the table moves easily and stands with excellent presence. It displays a rich, warm patina and well-aged character throughout.

A stylish and practical centre table, library table or occasional desk - ideal for traditional, country house, eclectic or vintage-inspired interiors.
