Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Dutch Golden Age genre paintings typically depict scenes of everyday life, showcasing musicians, tradespeople, or domestic interiors with detailed realism and dramatic lighting effects.

Copper panels provided a smooth, non-porous surface that allowed artists to execute fine, precise detail and rich colour saturation without canvas texture.

Authentic 19th-century works after Dutch Masters display characteristic craquelure, historical panel backing, precise brushwork, and natural pigment age consistent with the era.

A traditional genre painting can be displayed as a focal point within a gallery wall, positioned above a mantelpiece, or set inside a dark wood library space for classical contrast.

Keep the panel away from direct sunlight and humidity fluctuations, dust lightly with a soft brush, and avoid water or liquid cleaning chemicals.
