Every single antique dealer on our platform is individually approved by our internal team. We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

A Sabra silk kilim is a traditional flatwoven Moroccan textile crafted using natural plant fibres derived from the Saharan Agave cactus. Known for its smooth texture and subtle sheen, these textiles feature hand-embroidered geometric patterns symbolic of Berber heritage.

These rugs are woven using cactus silk fibres processed from Agave leaves, often combined with cotton or wool for structural stability. The yarns are coloured using botanical dyes before being hand-woven on traditional looms.

Authentic Sabra silk exhibits slight natural slubs and irregularities inherent to hand-spun vegetable fibres. The intricate geometric motifs are hand-stitched rather than printed, displaying asymmetrical variations in thread density and colour tone.

A Sabra silk kilim can be laid over wood or stone flooring to add linear pattern, or suspended vertically as a wall tapestry. Its neutral ground and delicate coloured motifs complement contemporary, bohemian, and minimalist interior schemes.

Due to the water-soluble nature of natural vegetable dyes, Sabra silk textiles should be dry cleaned professionally or spot-cleaned without water. Regular maintenance requires gentle vacuuming without a rotating brush attachment to prevent fibre pulling.
