An excellent silver decanter label of good gauge silver and size. This charming example dates to the reign of George III and is by the collectable Peter and William Bateman. To the front ''White Wine'' is hand engraved in capitals, within a shaped cartouche. To the outside is a fabulous border of fruiting vines, scrolls and shells, all surmounted by a lion mask. The label is supported on a belcher style chain and is hallmarked to the reverse. A superb collectors piece and lovely gift idea. Dimensions below.
