This is a stylish Joshagan carpet from West Iran dating from around 1930. The handwoven woollen carpet is in lovely soft wool and has a very appealing design. It has a beautiful azure blue field with diamond lattice of stylised flowerheads and deep coral borders with angular vines. The carpet is in great condition, clean and ready for use and would add charm and colour in both contemporary or period settings. This measures 152 cms by 108 cms.
