1966 Omega Seamaster De Ville with Box

1940 - 1960
Description

A 1966 Omega Seamaster De Ville wristwatch. A silvered dial with a light brushed finish. Applied steel numerals each with faceted edges, catching the light at different angles and giving a pleasing visual effect. The hour markers are doubled up at the quarters. A framed date aperture to 3 o'clock, viewed through the original Omega cyclops glass. Applied Omega logo and script to below 12 o'clock and a printed Seamaster De Ville to the lower half. Signed Swiss Made to 6 o'clock.

A stainless steel case with delicately shaped straight lugs, faceted to the edges. A slim bezel surrounds the dial and follows down smoothly to the bracelet. Original Omega winding crown. A large embossed Seamaster 'Hippocampus' logo to the case back. This watch comes complete with its original reference 1037 Omega bracelet and box. Case reference 166.020SP.

The watch is powered by a 24 jewel Omega caliber 565, automatic mechanism. This watch is dated by serial numbers to 1966.
