Mid 19th.c. French wall mirror c.1840. Original 29'' x 43'' two piece mirror plate with the distinctive sparkle of old mercury glass. Within a wooden frame with dense gesso work grape and vine leaf detail. Attractive gilt finish worn and rubbed in places. Original backboards. Some obvious tarnish and scratches to the mirror, otherwise good condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
