In the 35 years I have been trading, I cannot recollect coming across such a beautiful glazed Georgian corner cabinet. Evidently, I am not the only one to think so highly of this piece, because, within the last 60 years, someone commissioned its elegant and sympathetic stand to be made. Together, they make a wonderful interior statement and a perfect vehicle to display a treasured collection. The glazed cabinet has been skilfully lined with ivory coloured moir� silk and edged with a complimentary braid. Its decorative fretted and inlaid swan''s neck pediment is original, as are the fine glazing bars which are perfectly positioned to display the items inside. The internal bolts, hinges and locks are all in excellent order, and as you can see from the images, it has is a key with a decorative tassel.
