A refined pair of mid-19th-century Old Paris turquoise-ground cache-pots set in gilt bronze mounts. The porcelain carries hand-painted florals and small bees—motifs typical of Paris decorators in the 1840s—while the gilt bronze features wide rims, ring handles and tripod paw-and-ball feet. The vivid turquoise paired with warm bronze was a favoured Parisian colour contrast for mantel and console display. Variations in the floral painting confirm hand execution.
